W was created in 2003 following a workshop on collective improvised conference (Bloc, Centre chorégraphique de Tours). This work started from a collaboration between Joris Lacoste, Jeanne Revel and Joao Fiadeiro on his Real Time Acting method (CND 2004) and then developed autonomously during universitary seminars, pratical research sessions, working out of performances, and critical and scholarly workshops.
Starting at the end of October, 2008, W critical Seminar will recommence every Saturday and every last Tuesday of the month. W Games take place at Les Laboratoires d’Aubervilliers. Both Games and the Seminar are open to everyone.
