Antonio A. Casilli is a sociologist, an associate professor of digital humanities at Telecom ParisTech as well as a researcher at the EHESS (CEM-IIAC, Paris). His research focuses on technological cultures, the body and the political dimension of Web use. He has coordinated several international surveys (including fields in the US, China and Brazil). He is the author of "Les liaisons numériques" [Digital relationships](Ed. du Seuil, 2010). He coordinates the ANR project Anamia, about Web communities on eating disorders, and the ICCU project on the impact of social media in the British and Greek riots.
