Topiques / isabelle Daëron

For the season first evening of debate, we are happy to invite designer Isabelle Daëron, who will share with us her project Topiques, aesthetical modules including a technology able to filter rainwater. From this shared experience, we will explore different ways to improve the quality of water, and, through the aesthetic of these "objects-machines", our life environment. Is Topiques an ersatz of natural functions? The natural, spontaneous cycle has been broken. An object aiming at filtering a water that we assume is already pur: why is it so urgently needed? For more information, see www.isabelledaeron.com

We will also welcome Mascha Fehse, who studies architecture and created the BerlinFarmLab along with Valentina Kang. She will explain how to live in a self-sustainable system, following ecological, ethical, healthy principles, whilst being totally integrated in the city. Mascha and Valentina have worked with Marjetica Potrč, the Slovenian artist who initiated La Semeuse in Les Laboratoires d'Aubervilliers (2011). See http://berlinfarmlab.tumblr.com
