Le jeu de l'échelle W Games are performances exercises following specific rules, which assign different roles to the actor, playwright and viewer.  Some games are to be played individually, others with teams. Some of the games can be won, but the aim is to have a fun and instructive time. You can take part as a viewer,  a supporter, or a player: you just have to know the rules. All games are unpredictable. Most of W Games are exercises for use during workshops and training sessions, but some of them also lead to works to be performed before an audience. In this case, we distinguish between two types of games: games-shows, where the audience is invited to attend to the games from their seats with predetermined teams, and open-games, where the audience can join in the games directly.
