While watching Henchman’s Glance by Chris Marker, Natascha Sadr Haghighian let her eyes cross as a way of shutting out the brutality of the film, thus creating a hole in the middle of her field of vision. The performance Looking Awry is a chance to recreate the geometric conditions of this "sidelong view" to share and analyze this phenomenon with the audience.
