“Because each performance deploys time in a unique way, how should one think about the relationship between time and modes of work? Which modes of work can escape the acceleration and constant actualization of a projection into the future? How do artists today work with time and its materiality, and can this be linked to the specificity of their vision? What is the relationship between the dramaturge and the economy of time?” (Bojana Kunst)



From October to December 2011, the dance theorist Bojana Kunst will spend four whole weeks with a choreographer, artist, or other cultural producer (Danae Theodoridou, performer and researcher, Boyan Manchev, philosopher and theorist, Ivana Müller, choreographer, Igor Štromajer, net-artist), exploring the different aspects of work processes within contemporary art, their relationship to time and the political, economic and performative implications of such experimentation. These "full-time" meetings will be shared with the public, either during conversations, performance, or by individual appointment. These occasions will offer to the public the opportunity to engage themselves with the ways Bojana Kunst and her partners address their relationships to time. The material produced during these meetings and public situations will provide the basis for a publication, to appear in 2012.


- From October 11th to 15th, Greek performer and researcher Danae Theodoridou will launch the cycle explorating the concept of time waste while participating in cultural events. In a meeting space conceived as a time bank, Bojana Kunst and Danae Theodoridou receive the audience on appointment. More informations.

- The work session with Boyan Manchev (October 2011) will lead to a conference in Summer 2012.

- A special issue of Maska, Slovenian performing arts journal, will relate these encounters. To be released in 2012.
