Nadia Beugré began dancing at the Dante Théâtre where she explored traditional dances from Côte d’Ivoire. In 1997 she founded the dance company Tché Tché. The company has received a number of awards and has given shows and workshops on invitation in various countries. Beugré later created the solo piece Un espace vide: Moi (An Empty Space: Me) and presented it in the United Kingdom, France, Burkina Faso, Tunisia and the United States. She trained at the “Outillage Choréographiques” workshop (Ecole des Sables, Germaine Acogny, Senegal) and in 2009 joined the artistic training Ex.e.r.ce “Danse et Image” (under the artistic direction of Mathilde Monnier) where she began her work on her solo Quartiers Libres (Free). She is currently working with Séydou Boro and Alain Buffard.
